Police are actively searching for a suspect after a shocking sexual assault occurred on Earlswood Common in Redhill. The incident took place at approximately 9.30am on Wednesday, 18 March, while the victim was walking their dog.
The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, approximately 6ft tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a thin black jacket with the hood up, black tracksuit bottoms, and black shoes.
Borough Commander Lyndsey Whatley stated, “Reports of this nature are taken extremely seriously, and we have a number of enquiries underway in relation to this.” She added, “If you were near Earlswood Lakes that morning and saw or heard anything, or have dash-cam or helmet-cam footage, please call 101 quoting PR/45260011414.”
Police have increased high-visibility patrols in the area and are encouraging local residents to provide any information that may assist the investigation.
