Police were called to Mill Road in Gillingham around midday on March 18 following a stabbing that disturbed the normally quiet street. Upon arrival, officers and paramedics discovered a man with a serious stab wound.
The injured man was taken to hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening or worsening, according to officials.
Armed police quickly responded to the scene, cordoning off a house near Medway Park on Mill Road. Videos circulating show a significant police presence, which caused concern among local residents as officers secured the area and began their investigation.
A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing and is currently in police custody.
