A man in his early 40s has tragically died in Sidcup following an unknown incident on Blackfen Road.
The emergency unfolded shortly before 8.50pm on July 1, when the London Ambulance Service alerted the Metropolitan Police to reports of an injured man. Officers, paramedics, and London’s Air Ambulance rushed to the scene.
Despite desperate attempts to save him, the man was pronounced dead at the location.
The exact cause of the incident remains a mystery. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said enquiries are now underway to piece together what happened.
“We were alerted by the London Ambulance Service at 8.49pm regarding an injured man on Blackfen Road. Police and air ambulance responded immediately,” confirmed the spokesperson.
