In the early hours of August 5, a tragic collision in Brentford resulted in the death of a 22-year-old pedestrian. The incident occurred at approximately 3:50am at the junction of Brook Lane North and the A4 Great West Road.
Emergency services were quick to respond after police officers nearby, attending an unrelated incident, discovered the injured man. The London Ambulance Service and air ambulance teams were called to the scene immediately. Despite their efforts, the young man was pronounced dead at the location.
The driver of the car involved remained at the scene and is cooperating fully with the police. No arrests have been made as investigations continue. The Serious Collision Investigation Unit has taken over the case and implemented road closures to conduct a detailed inquiry.
