A man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene after falling from the Aragon Tower on George Beard Road, Deptford. The tragic incident occurred early on Thursday morning, March 16.
Police were called at 7:13am following reports of the fall. Officers and the London Ambulance Service responded promptly. Multiple resources were dispatched, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, and a medic in a fast-response car. The first medic arrived within five minutes of the call.
The victim’s family has not yet been informed. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the death is being treated as unexpected. Investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding the fall.
“Unfortunately, a man was declared dead at the scene,” a spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said.
