Gunfire Erupts Near Roundon Park
A local resident, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed the chaos this evening as gunshots shattered the calm. Ten shots were fired, leaving two men wounded.
Massive Crime Scene and Armed Response
The area was swarmed by police and emergency crews. Armed officers quickly sealed off the scene, turning the road into a sea of flashing blue lights and sirens.
Two Men Hospitalised
A Metropolitan Police spokesman revealed police were called at around 9pm on Sunday, 7 May, following reports of shots fired on Campbell Road, E3.
- A 21-year-old man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
- A 66-year-old man also received treatment; his injuries are not life-threatening.
Police Launch Investigation – No Arrests Yet
Officers are still assessing the younger victim’s condition. No suspects have been arrested so far.
