Detectives hunting a man responsible for multiple daytime indecent exposures on Hampstead Heath have made a public appeal with new evidence. The offences took place between 4:40pm and 8pm on Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 June, targeting locations including the mixed bathing pond, Parliament Hill viewpoint, and East Heath Road.
The suspect is described as a lone male aged between 25 and 35 years old. He approached women in the southeast part of the Heath, exposing himself and making unwanted advances.
Police were alerted promptly and launched an immediate investigation to identify the offender.
Suspect Description:
- Tanned skin
- Short brown hair
- Dark eyes
- Clean-shaven
- Height between 5ft 6in and 5ft 8in
Detectives are confident the same individual is linked to all reported offences. To assist the investigation, an E-fit image and victim-shot mobile footage have been released and broadcast on BBC1’s Crimewatch programme, aiming to jog public memories and encourage witnesses to come forward.

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Ridley, leading the inquiry from the Central North Public Protection Team, said: “These offences have left victims traumatised. It’s vital that anyone with information helps us bring this man to justice.”
Victims remain shocked and appalled by the attacks. DCI Ridley emphasised the Metropolitan Police’s commitment to tackling violence against women and urged anyone with information or affected by the incidents to contact the authorities.
