Kent Police have launched a comprehensive investigation targeting multiple hotspots including Swanscombe, Sittingbourne, Dartford, and Canterbury. This major operation has successfully dismantled a suspected firearms network, leading to 17 arrests over the course of two days.
On Tuesday, March 31, police conducted early raids across several locations, arresting eleven suspects. The operation continued the following day with six additional arrests made in Faversham, Swanscombe, and Greenhithe.
Six individuals have now been charged with firearms offences and are scheduled to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, April 4, 2026. The accused are Shane Treeby, 27, of Pinewood Drive, Chatham; Hannah Strong, 33, of Lansdowne Square, Northfleet; Peter McGregor, 66, of Kirby Road, Dartford; Harry Milson, 23, of Stanley Road, Swanscombe; Daniel Reeves, 37, of Lansdowne Square, Northfleet; and Harrison Holmes, 21, of Tooley Street, Northfleet.
Additional charges have been brought against several suspects. Harrison Holmes faces further allegations including selling a firearm without a certificate, possession of a bladed article, and possession of cocaine. Hannah Strong and Daniel Reeves are charged with supplying cocaine, while Peter McGregor is accused of possessing cocaine with intent to supply.
Regarding bail and custody status, a 14-year-old boy, a 15-year-old boy, and three men aged 23, 26, and 56, arrested on March 31, have been granted bail and are due to appear in court in June. Meanwhile, six men aged between 19 and 46, arrested on April 1, remain in police custody as enquiries continue.
