On Friday 3rd November at around 5.30pm, a man was caught on CCTV following a delivery driver into Cornwell Court on Haslemere Road, Southsea. Shortly after entering the building, the suspect stole a Poppy Appeal Collection Box.
The entire incident was recorded on CCTV and the footage has been handed over to the investigating officer. Authorities are actively working to identify the individual responsible for the theft.
Police are urging anyone who recognises the man in the footage to contact Hampshire Police on 101 immediately. Tips can also be reported anonymously to the charity involved in the Poppy Appeal.
