Five people were injured in a serious crash on the A31 at Four Marks involving a Mitsubishi Outlander, Citroen C1, and Jaguar XE.
The collision occurred at approximately 6.35pm on Sunday, 5 November. The 70-year-old man driving the Mitsubishi Outlander sustained minor injuries, while his 72-year-old female passenger was seriously hurt.
The driver of the Citroen C1, a 66-year-old woman, suffered life-threatening injuries. Her 49-year-old passenger was also seriously injured. The 56-year-old man driving the Jaguar XE had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
All four seriously injured victims were transported to Southampton General Hospital for urgent medical treatment.
Sergeant Andy Noble of Hampshire Constabulary’s Roads Policing Unit said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this incident to get in touch. A number of people have been seriously injured and the road was closed for more than four hours while we dealt with this incident.”
He added: “If you witnessed the collision or have any details that could help our investigation, please contact us.”
