Daniel Doyle, a 21-year-old drug dealer from Knowsley, has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison for operating a County Lines drug network in North Wales. Doyle, who resides on Cotsford Close, pleaded guilty to supplying heroin and crack cocaine at Mold Crown Court on 18 July.
The arrest followed a joint operation between Merseyside Police and North Wales Police targeting the notorious ‘Scouse Paul’ County Lines network. Authorities used intelligence that identified a mobile phone number sending flare messages to drug users around Rhyl, advertising heroin and crack cocaine.
Doyle was apprehended last month during a police raid in Rhyl. It was revealed that he was still out on licence from a 24-month suspended sentence imposed in October 2022 for Class A drug dealing.
Detective Inspector Gary Stratton commented on the investigation: “This investigation involved working closely with North Wales Police to gather sufficient intelligence to execute a warrant to ultimately shut down the ‘Scouse Paul’ County Line.”
He added, “County Lines drug dealing feeds intimidation, violence, and fear in communities. Taking down Doyle’s operation protects countless people from harm.”
