Surrey Police have initiated a manhunt for three suspects connected to the tragic death of 10-year-old Sara Sharif in Horsell, Surrey. Authorities believe the suspects, who were known to Sara, have left the United Kingdom following the incident.
Sara Sharif was discovered lifeless at a residence on Hammond Road in Horsell during the early hours of Thursday. Police confirmed that no other individuals were present in the home when officers arrived at the scene. Reports indicate that the three persons of interest departed the country the day before, prompting an international search effort.
Detective Chief Inspector Debbie White stated that police are collaborating closely with international law enforcement agencies to locate and question those connected to Sara’s death. She said, “We’re following all leads to understand what happened.” While formal identification of the girl is still pending, authorities have confirmed she is known locally.
The local community has been left in mourning after the loss of the young girl. Neighbours reported that a Pakistani family with six young children moved into the house in April. Floral tributes and messages expressing sorrow have been placed outside the home. One tribute reads, “Sweet girl, I’m so sorry that your sparkle was put out too soon.” Surrey Police have pledged to continue their investigation to uncover the full circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking case in the quiet village of Horsell.
