Detectives investigating the murder of a man found stabbed to death in Gillingham have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the case.
Emergency services were called to Fox Street at 1.10pm on Friday, 20 December 2019. A 35-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene after being stabbed following a street argument with another man.
Police officers remain on-site, thoroughly investigating all angles of the incident. A knife has been seized and sent for forensic testing, while nearby areas are being searched for any discarded weapons.
Detectives have issued an urgent appeal for anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV images to come forward. They are also keen to hear from motorists with dashcam footage who were in or near the following locations between 12.30pm and 1.30pm on the day of the stabbing:
- High Street
- Jeffery Street
- King Street
- Balmoral Road
- Railway Street
- Marlborough Road
- Lock Street
- Britton Street
- Skinner Street
- Fox Street
Footage can be uploaded directly via the Kent Police Major Incident Public Reporting Site. No arrests have been made at this time.
