Merseyside Police are urgently appealing for help to find 62-year-old Christopher Spelman, a Kirkby man wanted on recall to prison.

Spelman was jailed for seven years on 6 March 2014 for indecent assault.

Spelman was released on licence on 9 December 2016 but flouted the terms and was immediately recalled to prison on the same day. Despite extensive police efforts, he remains at large.

Spelman is described as white, 5ft 8in, medium build, with blue eyes and short brown hair. He is believed to have travelled to Folkestone, Kent, in early 2017 and stayed there until June 2018.

He is known to hang around campsites and work in the hospitality industry.

If you have any information on Spelman’s whereabouts, call Merseyside Police on 101 immediately. Alternatively, you can provide anonymous tips to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
