Tragically, 37-year-old Ashley Cron was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ashley’s family, supported by specialist officers, shared an emotional tribute: “Ash was all of our everythings. He was an amazing, fun daddy to his five children and a loving, supportive husband, son, grandson, and cousin to his fabulous big family. Words cannot describe the pain we are all going through and we will never recover. We are already appreciating all the love and support from family and friends.”

They added, “Sleep tight Daddy, we love you the whole world, millions, billions, squillions, forever and ever with a cherry on top xxxxxxxxxx.”

The investigation into the crash is ongoing. Police have renewed their appeal for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
