Hampshire Police are investigating after a 24-year-old woman was indecently assaulted near an underpass in Basingstoke.
The incident occurred just after 4.45pm on Thursday, June 20.
The victim was walking into the underpass at Viables Roundabout, on the Brighton Hill side, when a man grabbed her from behind and pushed her. He then touched her indecently over her clothes before sprinting off through the underpass.
Fortunately, the woman was not physically hurt but was left visibly shaken by the ordeal.
Police have described the suspect as a white man, approximately 5ft 7ins tall, with a larger build. He was wearing a grey hooded top and possibly jogging bottoms.
Authorities are urging anyone who was nearby or who spotted someone matching this description to come forward.
