A tragic incident occurred on the M25 late Sunday when 19-year-old motorcyclist Andrina Everett from Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, was fatally struck by a car allegedly fleeing from police.

The crash happened around 11:40 PM near Junction 30 on the M25 in Essex. Kent Police were pursuing a suspected stolen vehicle when it collided with Andrina’s motorcycle, resulting in her immediate death.

Following the collision, two 18-year-old teenagers from Essex were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Both suspects have since been released on bail. A court hearing is scheduled for July 8.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) has launched a full investigation into the police pursuit and the circumstances surrounding the crash.

In response to the tragedy, local residents have organized a fundraiser to assist with Andrina’s funeral expenses, demonstrating strong community support for her grieving family.

Community members stated, “This tragic incident starkly reminds us of the deadly risks linked to reckless driving and police chases.”
