Chaos erupted just after 7pm on November 1 when a person was struck by a train at Turnham Green Underground Station.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said, “We were called to Turnham Green at around 7pm following reports of a person struck by a train. Officers from BTP, the Met, and other emergency services attended promptly.”
The injured individual was found on the tracks after the collision.
All trains were halted between Stamford Brook and Turnham Green on the Piccadilly Line. Trains already past Stamford Brook were forced to reverse back to the station.
Turnham 1 Terrace remains closed amid ongoing investigations.
