One lane of the southbound A3 at Chalton is closed this morning after a silver BMW crashed into roadside furniture near Queen Elizabeth Country Park. Traffic is moving slowly with long delays building as drivers approach the scene.
Hampshire Roads Policing officers are currently stretched, managing a serious collision in Alton while the Joint Roads Policing Unit attends to this latest incident on the A3.
The driver of the BMW was treated at the scene by a South Central Ambulance paramedic. Fortunately, there are no immediate reports of life-threatening injuries.
