Firefighters from Southsea and Portchester rushed to tackle a fierce blaze on Malvern Road this Wednesday afternoon. The fire tore through the property, forcing a dramatic rescue.
Just after 3pm on June 20th, crews arrived equipped with hose reels, two jets, and a powerful PPV fan to battle the inferno and clear smoke from the property. A man trapped inside was rescued by brave firefighters wearing breathing apparatus.
The rescued man was handed over to South Central Ambulance Service paramedics for treatment at the scene. Fire crews continue investigating the cause of the blaze.
