Six fire engines raced to tackle a fierce house fire in Gosport today. The property on Nyria Way has been completely gutted.
Firefighters were called just after 12:30pm on Monday. Crews from Gosport, Fareham, Portchester, and Cosham scrambled to the scene, deploying 30 firefighters and officers to fight the flames.
The fire quickly engulfed the entire property. Three hose reels and breathing apparatus teams battled the intense blaze as it spread through the home.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance landed nearby, while a hazardous area response team (HART) from South Central Ambulance Service was also on standby.
Emergency services have warned locals to keep windows and doors shut while firefighters work to bring the fire under control.
More updates to follow as the situation develops.
