Firefighters heroically rescued three people from a blazing house in Gosport, Hampshire, in the early hours of Tuesday.
Crews from Gosport, Fareham, and Hightown rushed to a property on North Cross Street shortly after 12:37am when flames broke out in the kitchen on the first floor, filling the house with thick smoke.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters entered the smoke-filled home and pulled three people to safety. They also rescued a woman who was trapped on the roof of the building.
The teams quickly brought the blaze under control using two hose reels and a covering jet, preventing further damage to the kitchen and the rest of the house.
Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service attended the scene and assessed the rescued individuals to ensure their wellbeing following the incident.
