Police and paramedics rushed to a four-vehicle pile-up on Northern Bridge in Cosham this lunchtime. The crash, involving a Red BMW, Pink Mini, Red Astra, and Black Seat, occurred just after 12:30pm.
South Central Ambulance Service dispatched three ambulances to the scene. An ambulance officer is treating the crash victims on site. Fortunately, injuries are not believed to be serious. One driver was taken to QA Hospital for further medical checks.
Traffic is crawling in both directions due to the incident. Rubberneckers and slow-moving queues are causing major delays. Officers from Havant Roads Policing are managing the scene while recovery teams work to clear the wreckage.
The damaged vehicles have been moved onto the bus stop and pavement to keep the main carriageway clear. Drivers are advised to expect delays while cleanup continues.
