Detectives are investigating after a man was stabbed in broad daylight at Station Chine, Herne Bay seafront.

Kent Police were called to the scene at 4.24pm on Friday, 29 March 2019, following reports that a man had suffered a serious stab wound.

Emergency services, including the South East Coast Ambulance Service, quickly responded to the incident.

The victim, a man in his 20s, received urgent medical treatment at the scene before being airlifted to a hospital in London. His condition is described as serious but stable.

Police have launched a full investigation and are conducting initial enquiries in the surrounding area.
