Kent Police responded to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on the A226 London Road in Stone just before 4pm on Tuesday, 14 December 2021. The incident occurred near the junction with Acacia Road.
Emergency services, including the South East Coast Ambulance Service, arrived quickly at the scene. A woman who was injured in the collision received treatment on site before being transported to a local hospital for further medical care.
Following the incident, a woman was arrested in connection with the collision. Police have confirmed that inquiries are ongoing as they work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the crash.
The A226 London Road was temporarily closed during the emergency response but has since reopened to traffic.
