Three fire engines rushed to a property in Willesborough after a fire broke out on the ground floor. Firefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus, fought the blaze using hose reel jets, main jets, and water sourced from a nearby hydrant.
Five occupants were rescued by the crews and guided to safety. They were subsequently handed over to the South East Coast Ambulance Service for medical treatment.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time. Kent Police officers were present at the scene, supporting the ongoing investigation alongside the firefighters.
