Kent Police have opened a murder investigation following the discovery of a man’s body in Gillingham.
Officers were called to Fox Street at 1.10pm on Friday, 20 December 2019. A man in his 30s was found with stab wounds and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended the incident.
The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate is leading the inquiry into the fatal stabbing. Police remain at the scene as they continue to investigate what happened.
No arrests have been made so far. Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward and assist with the investigation. Witnesses are urged to contact Kent Police on 101 or visit their website, quoting reference CAD 20-0680.
