Police in Kent have opened a murder investigation following the discovery of a man in his 40s who was found stabbed within the grounds of a property in Dartford.
The body was discovered early this morning in an alleyway close to Oakfield Lane. The South East Coast Ambulance Service alerted police at 8:18am after the grim find.
Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate responded rapidly to the scene and have launched a detailed inquiry into the incident.
A man, also in his 40s, has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Police remain at the location as investigations continue to gather evidence.
