Kent Police responded to reports of a violent assault at a property on Coolinge Lane at 8.50pm on Sunday, 2 January 2022. The victim, a man in his 60s, was found with multiple injuries at the scene.
Paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and transported the man to hospital. Despite medical efforts, he tragically passed away the following day, Monday 3 January.
Following the incident, police arrested a 31-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, both known to the deceased. They remain in custody on suspicion of murder as the investigation continues.
