Emergency services swarmed a seaside footpath in Folkestone last night following a mystery incident. Multiple ambulances and an incident support unit arrived at the scene at around 7.30pm on Sunday, August 31.
Several South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) vehicles were seen near the stepped path linking Lower Sandgate Road and the Road of Remembrance. Paramedics moved quickly on foot, attending to the area while residents watched with concern.
Witnesses reported a heavy paramedic presence, with numerous emergency crews at the location. Several ambulances were parked along Lower Sandgate Road as teams worked on the steps nearby. Despite the significant response, the exact nature of the incident has not been disclosed.
SECAmb has been contacted for further information but has yet to confirm if any casualties required hospital treatment. Locals remain anxious as questions continue about what occurred on the usually quiet seafront path.
