Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded promptly to a serious two-vehicle collision on the M20 coast-bound between junction 5 (Aylesford/A20) and junction 6 (Maidstone/A229).

Two fire engines were dispatched to the scene where crews quickly used hydraulic rescue gear to free a van driver trapped in the vehicle.
