Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to a fire on Jubilee Crescent, Gravesend, after a storage shed caught fire. Two fire engines were deployed to tackle the blaze that had fully engulfed the shed, which was being used as a utility room.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus battled the fire to bring it under control. During the incident, a teenager suffering from breathing difficulties caused by smoke inhalation was given oxygen at the scene. The teen was then handed over to SECAmb paramedics and rushed to hospital for further treatment.

The fire is believed to have started accidentally and caused major damage to the storage shed. No other injuries have been reported in connection with the blaze.
