Kent Fire and Rescue Service acted heroically at 6.40pm after a fire broke out at a property on Loose Road, Maidstone. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus entered the burning home to rescue a trapped casualty.

Using powerful hose reel jets, the crews quickly extinguished the flames and brought the fire under control. The rescued individual was immediately handed over to the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) for urgent medical treatment.

The prompt response by the fire crews prevented the blaze from spreading further throughout the home. Their quick thinking and effective use of breathing apparatus enabled a safe and efficient rescue operation.

Paramedics provided immediate care to the casualty, highlighting the coordinated efforts between emergency services. Kent’s firefighters demonstrated their vital role in protecting the Maidstone community from fire-related disasters.
