A six-year-old girl was rushed to Birmingham Children’s Hospital with arm injuries following a dog attack in Brook Vale, Cannock, Staffordshire at around 12:40pm on Saturday.
A woman also suffered an arm injury but did not need hospital treatment, Staffordshire Police confirmed.
Police are continuing their inquiries into the incident and have urged anyone who witnessed the attack to come forward.
Staffordshire Police said: “If you were in the Brook Vale area around midday on Saturday and saw anything suspicious, please get in touch.”
