The family of 23-year-old motorcyclist Sam Bagley is devastated after a fatal collision on Wellington Road, Burton, yesterday morning.
The crash occurred just before 6am on 5 October when Sam’s motorcycle collided with a lorry. Paramedics rushed to the scene but, heartbreakingly, Sam was pronounced dead at once.
In a moving statement, Sam’s family described him as a “loving fiancé, brother, and son” who was “always up for anything with a real zest for life.” They added, “There are no words, all our hearts hurt.”
Staffordshire Police are investigating the crash and have launched an urgent appeal for witnesses. Anyone who saw the collision or has CCTV or dashcam footage is urged to come forward.
