A 13-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a mum-of-two was found dead at her home in Swindon.

Sarah Forrester, in her early 50s, was discovered unresponsive in her terraced house on the outskirts of Swindon. Emergency services were called following reports of a disturbance, but despite their efforts, Sarah was pronounced dead at the scene.

Wiltshire Police acted swiftly and arrested a 13-year-old girl on suspicion of murder in connection with Sarah’s death. The teenager was questioned and has since been released on bail as the investigation continues.

The quiet street of Baydon Close, Moredon, remains cordoned off while police carry out door-to-door enquiries. No other injuries have been reported, and Sarah’s loved ones have been informed.

Friends and neighbours remember Sarah Forrester as “wonderfully kind” and “big-hearted,” paying tribute to the warm-hearted mum-of-two.
