A two-year-old boy was rushed to hospital with serious facial injuries following a shocking dog attack at a home in Swindon.
Emergency crews were called to a property on Homington Avenue, Badbury Park, on Sunday afternoon, 30 November, after the toddler was viciously bitten.
Wiltshire Police confirmed the child received urgent medical treatment at the hospital.
A woman in her 20s, believed to be the toddler’s mother, was arrested on suspicion of owning or controlling a dangerously out-of-control dog causing injury.
The dog involved was seized by officers, although its breed has not yet been officially confirmed.
Sources indicate the home is said to house three dogs: an XL Bully and two French bulldogs.
Witnesses reported a heavy police presence at the scene, including multiple police vehicles and a dog unit, underscoring the severity of the incident.
