Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a violent assault on an elderly man in Swindon on the night of Monday, July 22.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:20pm on Greenhill Road in the Moredon area. According to reports, a man in his 70s became involved in a struggle with a group of young people, resulting in serious head injuries for the victim.
Emergency services responded quickly and transported the injured man to hospital for urgent medical treatment.
