Wiltshire Police are currently hunting crooks responsible for a spate of burglaries in Redlynch. Between the night of 19 and 20 September, thieves targeted three separate rural homes, stealing garden power tools and bicycles valued at thousands of pounds.

The raids focused on remote properties, including barns and outbuildings. Authorities have confirmed that a black Ford Transit van was used during the break-ins. Witnesses reported seeing the van travelling through Downton into Redlynch before escaping via the A36 towards Hampshire through West Willow.

In response to the incidents, Wiltshire Police have increased patrols in the area and are working closely with Hampshire officers to conduct a thorough investigation. Residents in Redlynch and surrounding areas are advised to enhance their home security measures and remain alert following this series of crimes.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is urged to contact Wiltshire Police on 101, quoting crime reference 54240111001. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be submitted to CrimeStoppers by calling 0800 555 111. Police continue to remind the public to stay vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour in their neighbourhoods.
