A major search is underway for 21-year-old Sebastian, who was last seen late on Thursday night, 27 February. He was spotted around 11:30pm after visiting The Black Horse pub on London Road before reportedly heading towards the town centre of Chippenham.
Wiltshire Police and Wiltshire Search and Rescue (WILSAR) have launched a full-scale hunt to find Sebastian. Specialist teams are currently combing the Lovers Walk and Gladstone Road area near the River Avon, where he was last seen.
At around 8pm, officers used specialist equipment to search the river weir area. Yellow wires were lowered from the Radial Gate into the water, but no suspicious items were found during the operation.
Dozens of WILSAR volunteers gathered at their rendezvous point on Westmead Lane. Boats have been deployed to conduct a thorough sweep of the river, ensuring every area is checked carefully.
Details about Sebastian include:
- White male, 5ft 10in tall
- Slim build
- Brown hair with a fringe
- Last seen wearing a grey jumper, blue jeans, and a beige fur-lined jacket
Wiltshire Police have described Sebastian’s disappearance as unusual. His family is desperate and deeply worried for his safety.
Police have issued a plea: “If you have any information on Sebastian’s whereabouts, please call us immediately on 999.”
The search is ongoing, and authorities are urging local residents with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to review their recordings for any sign of Sebastian.
