Wiltshire Police are currently investigating a series of seven burglaries that took place in the Stratton St Margaret area of Swindon in the early hours of March 27.
The break-ins occurred between 4:49 am and 6:10 am along Gayton Way and Weedon Road. During these raids, thieves stole an angle grinder, bungee cords, and various gardening tools and equipment.
Police believe that two white men riding bicycles were seen near the scene at the time of the burglaries. Both suspects were dressed in black clothing and carried backpacks, with one individual also covering his face.
Wiltshire Police have released CCTV images of one of the suspects in the hope that someone may recognise him, although they caution that the footage is not very clear.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward immediately. Witnesses who saw anything suspicious or who recognise the described men are asked to contact Wiltshire Police by calling 101 and quoting reference 54250037306. Alternatively, information can be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Charlotte Martin of Wiltshire Police said: “We are actively investigating these burglaries and would appreciate any information that may assist our enquiries. If you noticed anything unusual or have seen the individuals described, please contact us.”
