Wiltshire Police have arrested two teenagers after a violent altercation in Corsham left a man with severe facial injuries. The incident occurred around 4:30pm on Thursday, May 1, on Newlands Road, directly outside Domino’s Pizza.
An 18-year-old and a 15-year-old boy are currently in custody on suspicion of causing Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) with intent. Both remain detained as the investigation continues.
Officers are actively searching for the victim, described as a slim white man in his late 30s, who was seen wearing white shorts and no top at the time of the attack. A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police stated, “We are keen to identify and speak to the victim to ensure he receives the appropriate support and to assist our investigation.”
Police are also appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to come forward. Members of the public can help the investigation by calling 101 and quoting log number 216 of May 1, or by contacting Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.
Authorities are relying on community support to uncover what led to this violent confrontation on the streets of Corsham.
