Police responded to a disturbance at Festival Leisure Park in Basildon at around 4.30am on Sunday, October 3. Upon arrival, officers found that the driver involved in the incident had already fled the scene.
Following a swift search supported by the Essex Police Dog Unit, a 25-year-old man from London was located and arrested. He now faces multiple charges including attempted murder, dangerous driving, and driving while unfit through drink or drugs. The suspect remains in custody for questioning.
One individual was hospitalised with a serious leg injury as a result of the crash. No further updates on the victim’s condition have been provided at this time.
