A masked burglar was caught on CCTV after breaking into a Maidstone service station late at night. The incident occurred just after midnight on 13 October 2020 at a shop on Ashford Road.
The man forced open the main doors and entered the premises, where staff were working. He grabbed bottles of alcohol, causing a disturbance inside the shop.
When a worker tried to intervene, the burglar assaulted him. Shortly after, a second suspect entered the shop. The two men then fled the scene empty-handed, dropping the bottles of alcohol on the floor as they escaped.
Kent Police are currently seeking to identify the man captured on CCTV, believing he holds important information to help solve the case. Anyone who recognises the suspect is urged to contact Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/183120/20.
