Thames Valley Police have released CCTV images as part of an investigation into a bold burglary spree targeting garden sheds in Oxford.
Between 2:05am and 2:25am on Monday 28 September, offenders broke into a garden shed on Gathorne Road. Although they caused damage, nothing was stolen. At the same time, a bicycle was taken from a neighbouring shed.
Later, at 2:45am, vandals struck again by damaging another garden shed on Chestnut Avenue. Once again, no items were reported stolen.
PC Abigail Kirkham from the Smarter Resolution Team in Oxford said, “I believe these incidents are linked and am releasing these CCTV images as people pictured may hold vital clues. If you recognise anyone or think it could be you, get in touch.”
Anyone with information or who recognises the individuals in the CCTV images is urged to contact Thames Valley Police via the online reporting form, quoting reference 43200304492, call 101, or report anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
