A motorcyclist was left seriously injured following a collision with a lorry in Sellindge, near Ashford. Kent Police have arrested a driver and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The crash occurred at 2.22pm on Saturday, 15 June on Main Road. Emergency services, including paramedics and an air ambulance team, attended the scene promptly. The motorcyclist received treatment for serious injuries before being taken to a local hospital.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of careless driving in connection with the incident. He remains in police custody while officers continue to investigate the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.
Kent Police are urging anyone who witnessed the lorry or motorcycle just before the collision to get in touch. They are particularly interested in any dashcam footage from the area around the time of the crash.
