Kent Police are actively hunting a man who sexually assaulted a woman in Margate. The incident took place on Cumberland Road between 8.45pm and 10.15pm on Tuesday, 26 November 2019.
The suspect is described as a white male, aged between 18 and 25 years old, approximately 5ft 5in tall and slim in build. He was seen wearing dark bottoms and a hooded top with white around the hood.
PC Tremayne Law, the Kent Police investigator handling the case, appealed for witnesses to come forward. He said: “Although the incident happened at night, we believe several people were in the area who might have seen something. It might not have been obvious an offence took place, but any information, no matter how small, could be vital.”
No arrests have been made so far. Police are urging anyone with information to call 01843 222289 and quote crime reference 46/226353/19.
