Police were called to a private address on George Roche Road in Canterbury at 5.16pm on Monday, 9 December 2019, following reports of a sudden death.
Paramedics attended the scene but were unable to save the man, who was pronounced dead at the location.
A man in his 40s from Canterbury was arrested on suspicion of drug offences in connection with the incident. He remains in police custody as investigations continue.
Kent Police have confirmed that enquiries into the full circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing. No further details have been released at this time.
