Harry Harris, 28, from Chigwell, Essex, has been charged with the murder of a 44-year-old man in Northfleet. The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, 4 February 2020.
Kent Police were called to an address on Hamerton Road at 2.46am on 4 February 2020. The South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended the scene, but the victim was sadly declared dead at the location.
Later that day, at 4.25pm, detectives arrested Harry Harris of Stanway Close on suspicion of murder. Police confirmed that the victim and Harris were known to each other.
On Thursday, 6 February, the Crown Prosecution Service authorised a formal charge of murder against Harris. In addition to the murder charge, he faces an additional charge of possessing a knife.
Harry Harris is currently remanded in custody and is due to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court.
