A 17-year-old boy was airlifted to a London hospital after being stabbed multiple times in the chest in Gillingham this evening.
The stabbing occurred around 7pm on Tuesday near St Albans Close, close to the Strand area of Gillingham. The teenager suffered serious chest wounds in the attack.
An air ambulance landed at Hilly Fields to rush the victim to hospital. Kent Police also deployed a police helicopter to track down three suspects who fled on foot after the stabbing.
Kent Police confirmed that three men were arrested and remain in custody following the incident. Officers conducted searches around Corporation Road and Knights Avenue, with the helicopter circling the area during the manhunt.
“Three people have been arrested and remain in custody as investigations continue,” a police spokesperson said.
